The Ecowas card popularly called Ghana card registration has officially ended in the Upper east region but most people have either not registered or collected their cards.Saturday which was the official closing date for the exercise was suppose to be the day the printed and available cards were to be issued but Monday was added to enable everyone collect their cards but the unfortunate happened as people made time to go take their cards on monday morning only to see the gadgets being packed with the notice that they are being taken to Kumasi to continue the exercise there.Alot of people affected were really disappointed and had to walk back home without their cards.
Information coming in has it that all these people will now have access to their cards and unregistered people also registered at special centers to be created by NIA body.The general public is hereby notified to watchout for these centers and avail themselves for the necessary services.All hope is not lost everything is being taken care of.These centers will be created in various districts across the region.
