FUMBISI TOWNSHIP TO EXPERIENCE PARTIAL LOCKDOWN
The Builsa south district chief executive has announced a partial lockdown of Fumbisi township beginning Thursday 2nd April, 2020.
The DCE who doubles as the chairman of the district covid-19 sensitization team on radio fumbisi on Tuesday, appreciated the people of Buluk for adhering to the president's directives and also some of the local measures adopted by the DISEC to help prevent the novel coronavirus from making its way into the district.
The DCE indicated that as part of the measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, government has taken a major step to fumigate the fumbisi market amongst other major markets in the region on the 1st of April, 2020.
The DCE, however in consultation with the DISEC has impose a partial lockdown of Fumbisi market for the next one week beginning from 2nd April, 2020.
The directive continues that; no vehicles shall carry passengers in or out of Fumbisi for purposes of marketing. The directive however exempts petty traders and food venders who do so on daily basis.
He has therefore appealed to the general public to adhere to the directive or face the wrath of the police.
